Genuine US Military issue

100% nylon waterproof Gore-Tex

A rare experimental item circa. 1983-1984, this parka was part of the initial trials that led to the introduction of the Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). The hood is shaped quite differently from the later production models and it lacks the snap fasteners and velcro around the brim. A great waterproof jacket with a unique fit and history.

Note the 'Experimental' stock number and the 'DAAK' contract number prefix that is exclusive to Natick contracts.

Very good condition with signs of real wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present. The contract label is present and legible. Strong colour. There are a couple of small spots of wear around the collar as shown. There is some light sporadic staining & discolouration.
