A perfect reproduction made using original USGI parts and webbing
STABO harnesses were used during the Vietnam conflict by US Special Forces, LRRP teams and MACVSOG units for fast extraction by helicopter. These rigs were worn throughout certain missions and were affixed to various other webbing items that were mission-essential. To extract, the user would attach an extraction line to the harness and the helicopter would airlift the team member(s) out of the area.
