A stunning vintage reproduction of the WW2 A-2 leather flight jacket made in the USA by Lost Worlds Inc.
It features a russet goat hide leather shell with a period-correct tobacco brown 196/90 Type VI Oxford cotton lining. The knitted cuffs and waist are 100% wool and are in the correct russet shade and exact historically-correct weave density. All zips, snaps, fittings and fixtures are 100% period-correct and are extremely high quality.
Includes period-correct light-brown leather name tab which reads 'J.R. Cobb'.
The jacket is in overall excellent condition with minor wear as seen - The leather is nicely broken-in, supple, and soft with a beautiful mild sheen - Not too shiny, or too dull, with decades of life left in it. All zips, snaps, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. The Talon brand zip runs smoothly. Knitted cuffs and waist are in excellent condition with no holes, wear, or damage. The stitchwork is outstanding with no fraying or looseness.
The contract label is present and legible. USAAF stamps on the lining are present and legible. There is a felt-pen mark under the label as seen.
The USAAF stamp on the left shoulder is nicely worn with great character.
